Collaboration with NIO, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Shanghai, for the launch of the M42 Nebula Red edition - a colour inspired by the Orion Nebula, more than 1,300 light-years away, and rooted in the cultural significance of red within Eastern traditions.

For the project, Matteo Menotto developed a series of bespoke patterns for the vehicle gifting, interiors and decorative elements, alongside a dedicated colour palette selection designed to enhance the immersive identity of the car. The collaboration explored the relationship between visual storytelling, material surfaces and automotive design, translating the atmospheric character of Nebula Red into a refined interior experience.
