Matteo Menotto x Coofandy — “Exotic Escape”

COOFANDY is a modern menswear brand known for combining refined style with everyday functionality. The brand develops collections ranging from casualwear to more tailored pieces, supporting a confident and sophisticated approach to daily dressing. 

The consulting collaboration involved the design of the print collection “Exotic Escape”, a Toile de Jouy-inspired proposal developed for COOFANDY’s seasonal collection. The concept embraces the beauty of distant adventures, translating the idea of an exotic retreat into a refined surface language that balances classic aesthetics with contemporary trends.

The design builds a visual narrative around the theme of discovery and serenity: floating islands become the central stage for lush landscapes populated by palm trees, tropical flowers, and wildlife elements such as tigers and birds in flight. The scenes are composed with delicate linework and symmetrical arrangements, creating a sense of rhythm and harmony while maintaining a polished and sophisticated tone. The incorporation of COOFANDY’s typography introduces a contemporary accent, reinforcing the connection between heritage-inspired ornament and modern identity.
